We are incredibly proud to congratulate Tiffin Old Girl Adriana Brownlee (Class of 2019) on her historic achievement of becoming the youngest woman in the world to scale all 14 of the world’s highest peaks, each standing over 8,000 metres. Adriana and her team reached the 8,027m summit of Shishapangma in Tibet on October 9th, completing this extraordinary feat.
At just 23 years old, Adriana is only the second British climber and one of just 64 people globally to have achieved this incredible milestone. After leaving Tiffin Girls in 2019, Adriana began a degree at Bath University but made the bold decision to leave and pursue her passion for mountaineering. Her inspiring journey is a testament to following your own path. Adriana says, "I hope to inspire young people all over the world that there is no set path in life."
We are so proud of her perseverance, courage, and trailblazing spirit. Congratulations, Adriana!
