We were thrilled to welcome nearly 1,000 visitors to our Careers Fair in the school on 7 November and to see the the event bustling with enthusiasm, ideas, and inspiration, as students explored a diverse range of career opportunities, represented by over 25 career stands.
One of the most inspiring aspects of the evening was the support from our wonderful alumnae, who generously gave up their time to represent their professions, share their career journeys, and provide valuable insights into their fields. This gave our students a unique and personal look into possible futures, sparking questions, excitement, and many new career aspirations.
We were delighted to welcome alumnae speakers and stand representatives from a wide variety of professions including:
Amy Dodd and Karthica Indramohan (Class of 2007), therapeutic radiographers at University College London Hospital NHS Foundation, who drew a packed audience for their presentation.
Amy Rubens (Class of 2020), an assistant manager at AAB, focusing on UK and US global mobility tax.
Sasha Perera (Class of 2018), an engineering graduate at British Airways, joined by her friend Poppy Durrett (also Class of 2018), a senior consultant at FTI Consulting.
Sakshi Dhanwantri (Class of 2021) from Deutsche Bank, who shared insights on finance careers.
Lucy Adams (Class of 2023), a graduate apprentice at Jaguar Land Rover, representing engineering and automotive fields.
Crystal Jain (Class of 2021), a brand specialist at Amazon, sharing her experiences in branding and tech.
Each alumna brought a wealth of knowledge and personal perspective, truly embodying the diversity of career paths our students might consider. Their participation not only highlighted the many possibilities available but also underscored the strong bond within our alumnae community—a bond that continues to support and inspire current and future generations.
If you’re an alumna and would like to offer career guidance or mentorship, we invite you to join our growing network on the alumnae website: community.tiffingirls.org. Here, you can connect with students, participate in events, and stay updated on alumnae and school news. Thank you to all who made the Careers Fair a memorable and impactful event. We look forward to seeing even more alumnae involvement in the years to come!
