A student fundraising board have played a key role in our efforts for the new Sports Centre Campaign. They have devised and participated in activities and events that they know the students would be interested in getting behind and have been creative and thorough in their support.
Certainly, one of the most colourful events of the year, has been the Colour Run which saw students come together to run laps of the field while being doused in House-coloured powder. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the event which was accompanied by much laughter.
Colour Run was originally inspired by the Hindu Festival, Holi, and seeks to celebrate healthiness, happiness and frienship and it certainly brought this to Tiffin Girls' for the afternoon which culminated with each student launching powder of their own House colours into the air.
It raised more than £200 for the campaign.
