Palliative care and the hospice movement in Russia and Ukraine, 1977-2010

After leaving Tiffin Girls’, Wendy went to University College London Hospital to do nurse training. This was when palliative care in the UK was rapidly developing. Wendy will tell the inspiring story of how her friend, Victor Zorza, the Polish-born journalist persuaded her to come to Russia and continue his pioneering work promoting palliative care.
