Alumna Katherine Parkinson returns to the National Theatre

Katherine will play Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing from 7 July

We were excited to spot this social media post from the National Theatre giving a glimpse behind the camera of its Much Ado About Nothing photoshoot featuring alumna Katherine Parkinson and her co-star John Heffernan.

Katherine attended the Tiffin Girls' School before reading classics at St Hilda's College, Oxford. Her other credits include (for the National) Home, I'm Darling, Season's Greetings and to name just a few of her TV and film roles, Defending the Guilty, Humans, The IT Crowd, Hang Ups, The Kennedys, Inside No 9, The Honourable Woman, In the Club, Whites, Doc Martin, How to Fake a War, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society, Radioactive, How to Sell a War, The Boat That Rocked, Easy Virtue.

Much Ado About Nothing will play at the Lyttelton Theatre from 7 July with a live broadcast to UK cinemas on 8 September.
