Dr Brintha Sivajee (Class of 2005) Brintha is a GP who has been qualified for 11 years. She trained at St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Kingston Hospital and has worked at Seymour House Surgery in Richmond for the past six years. Dr Sivajee has just taken on new roles as the clinical lead for South West London for the targeted lung checks and the Richmond and Kingston clinical lead for estates.
She was joined in the TiffinTalk by Dr Sahana Gnanasampanthan (Class of 2013) who and studied medicine at University College London (UCL). She graduated in 2019 with a certificate of merit in clinical practice, and a first class intercalated BSc in neuroscience. She completed her foundation training in North East London, following which she worked as a junior clinical fellow in renal medicine
at Hammersmith Hospital.
She has recently entered the Internal Medicine Training (IMT) program in August 2022 at Barts Health NHS trust in North East London, en route to specialising in renal medicine. Alongside working as a doctor, Sahana has a keen interest in research, leadership and teaching in medicine, and is currently studying for the Certificate in Learning and Teaching, an accredited qualification leading to Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
